BPW Colchester members have said that belonging to this organisation has increased their confidence, widened their outlook and, in some cases, even changed their lives. Most of the members come from towns and villages around Colchester and the Tendring peninsula. They have a wealth of differing expertise in business and the professions. Some have worked as linguists, teachers and librarians, others in administration, finance, healthcare and science. Colchester group's specialism has proved to be in the organisation of public seminars such as the one on Endometriosis - a serious topic during the Jubilee celebrations of 2005. The programme is intended to be varied and intriguing whilst widening members' knowledge and skills, as well as strengthening their links with local organisations and businesses. You will find members of BPW Colchester enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly!
